Range, battery and charging

Every version is rear-wheel drive. The 52 and 61 kWh batteries use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells; the 84 kWh uses nickel manganese cobalt (NMC).

Design, space and interior
A 0.24 drag coefficient, the best in Audi's compact range, helps the A2 e-tron's efficiency. Audi UK's page notes that its split rear window and spoiler recall the original A2.
The boot holds 396 litres, or 1,336 with the rear seats folded, and the 231 PS and 326 PS add a 13-litre front storage space. An 11.9-inch driver display, a 12.8-inch touchscreen and Fidlock, a magnetic system for clipping in cupholders and cable bags, are all standard.

Technology and safety
Adaptive cruise control, emergency brake assist, swerve assist and a reversing camera are standard on every A2 e-tron. Audi says that's on a par with its full-size cars.
Bidirectional charging is optional. Vehicle-to-load (V2L) can power devices such as e-bikes, and Audi says the A2 e-tron can also power a home (V2H) with a compatible DC wallbox.
