Hyundai IONIQ 3 UK Price, Range and Specs: From £18,495

Key points
- On sale now from £18,495. That's the on-the-road price of the IONIQ 3 Advance 42kWh after the £3,750 Electric Car Grant (£22,245 before it). Five versions run up to £28,195 for the N Line Evo.
- Every version gets the full £3,750 grant. GOV.UK lists the IONIQ 3 in Band 1 of the Electric Car Grant, the top discount. Customers who reserved one get the grant instead of Hyundai's £1,500 reservation saving.
- Up to 308 miles of range. That's for the 61kWh Advance (from £21,995 with the grant). The 42kWh entry car manages 213 miles. Both charge from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes on a rapid charger, Hyundai says.
- Small outside, roomy inside. It's 4.16 metres long, with a 441-litre boot (1,213 litres with the seats down) and Hyundai's new Android-based Pleos Connect infotainment.
- Available through salary sacrifice. The IONIQ 3 is available via salary sacrifice from loveelectric. Take a look at pricing here.
The Hyundai IONIQ 3 is on sale in the UK now, from £18,495 with the full Electric Car Grant, or £22,245 before it (Source: Hyundai UK, 5 October 2026). That price buys the Advance 42kWh, with 213 miles of range; the 308-mile version starts at £21,995 with the grant.

Hyundai IONIQ 3 UK prices, with and without the grant
Orders opened on 5 October 2026, and Hyundai says cars arrive in its UK retailers in October. Every version is in Band 1 of the government's Electric Car Grant, so the full £3,750 comes off the price. Buyers don't apply for it: the seller takes it off.
Customers who reserved an IONIQ 3 now get the £3,750 grant instead of Hyundai's £1,500 reservation saving. The IONIQ 3 joins the KONA as a Hyundai that qualifies for the full grant.
Range, charging and specs
The IONIQ 3 is a compact five-seat hatchback, 4.16 metres long, on a 400-volt platform. The 61kWh Advance has the longest range, at up to 308 miles; the Premium and Ultimate cover 303 and 300 miles, and the N Line Evo, on 19-inch wheels, 265 miles.
Unusually, the smaller 42kWh battery comes with more power (147PS against 135PS) and is quicker to 62mph. On a 350kW rapid charger, Hyundai estimates 10–80% in 29 minutes for the 42kWh car and 30 minutes for the 61kWh, and home charging runs at up to 11kW.
