Kia Ev2 Electric Hatchback

This compact SUV suits buyers who want Kia's familiar electric-car quality and tech in a smaller, more affordable package than the EV3. It has a boxy, practical shape that makes the most of the interior space, with decent room for four adults and a usefully deep boot plus a small front storage compartment. The version described here has a WLTP range of around 275 miles, and rapid charging can add a substantial top-up in around half an hour at a suitable charger, making it workable for occasional longer trips as well as daily driving. As a new model it has not yet been assessed by Euro NCAP, though sibling Kia EVs including the EV3 and EV6 have all scored well, which bodes well for this one.
