How to get the latest ‘75’ registration plates

The roads are about to get a refresh! The latest set of registration plates went live on September 1st, 2025, marking the arrival of the much-anticipated '75' plates. If you've been waiting for the perfect moment to make the switch to electric, there's never been a better time to secure an EV with a brand new plate.

What Makes the 75 Plate Special?

The '75' designation follows the UK's bi-annual number plate system, where plates change every six months. The '7' represents the second half of the year (September to February), while the '5' indicates 2025. These shiny new 75 plates will grace all new vehicles registered from September 1st through to the end of February 2026, making them the freshest identifier on British roads.

Why Choose Electric with Your New 75 Plate?‍

The appeal of a new registration plate goes beyond having latest identifier on your vehicle, it's also a smart financial consideration. Cars with newer plates typically retain their value better and experience slower depreciation, particularly important in the rapidly evolving EV market where perception of "newness" can significantly impact resale values.

The timing couldn't be more perfect. As we move into the final quarter of 2025, electric vehicle technology continues to advance rapidly, offering better range, faster charging, and more competitive pricing than ever before. Securing a 75 plate EV means you're getting the latest technology wrapped in a registration that immediately signals a current-year purchase, helping maintain stronger residual values over time.

The loveelectric Advantage

At loveelectric, we're specialists in salary sacrifice electric vehicles, making your transition to a 75 plate EV not just a sustainable choice, but financially savvy too. As a dedicated salary sacrifice provider, we offer a comprehensive service that goes far beyond simply supplying cars.

When you choose loveelectric for your new 75 plate EV, you'll benefit from:

  • Significant tax savings through our salary sacrifice scheme, reducing both your income tax and National Insurance contributions
  • All-inclusive packages covering insurance, maintenance, breakdown cover, and tyre replacement – everything you need in one monthly payment
  • Expert guidance from our EV specialists who understand both the technology and the financial benefits
  • Hassle-free process from initial consultation through to delivery and ongoing support
  • Access to the latest models from leading manufacturers, all available through salary sacrifice

Our salary sacrifice approach means you can drive away in a brand new 75 plate electric vehicle while potentially saving thousands compared to a traditional lease, all while reducing your carbon footprint.

Ready to Go Electric with a 75 Plate?

The new registration period brings fresh opportunities, and there's never been a more exciting time to embrace electric motoring. With the latest EV models offering impressive performance, extended range, and rapid charging capabilities, now is the time to make the switch.
