This is Subaru's first fully electric model, an SUV built on the same all-wheel-drive approach the brand is known for. It suits drivers who want extra grip and reassurance on wet motorways, gravel driveways or light towing duties, without stepping into anything oversized. The Touring trim covers 257 miles on a full charge and can take rapid DC charging at up to 150kW, so a top-up from low charge to a useful level is possible during a motorway stop. Boot space stands at 441 litres, enough for a family's weekly shop or a couple of large suitcases, with the rear seats offering genuine space for taller adults. The standard synthetic leather seats and panoramic roof lift the interior above the ordinary, though the twin-motor setup uses more energy than most rivals in this class.
