Smart's first electric SUV under its new ownership trades the brand's old city-car roots for a spacious, tech-focused crossover aimed at drivers who want a distinctive design alongside genuine everyday usability. The entry Pro+ derivative returns a WLTP range of 261 miles from its 66kWh battery, with rapid DC charging at up to 150kW allowing a 10 to 80 per cent top-up in under half an hour. Boot space is a modest 323 litres, reflecting the car's focus on cabin space and rear legroom over outright load capacity. Euro NCAP awarded the #1 a full five stars, with particularly strong scores for adult and child occupant protection.
