Fiat 600e Electric Hatchback

Fiat's electric crossover blends 500-style Italian styling with the extra ride height and boot space of a small SUV, making it suited to buyers who want the character of the 500 range but need more room for passengers and luggage day to day. The entry La Prima derivative offers a WLTP range of 254 miles, with rapid DC charging up to 100kW taking the battery from 20 to 80 per cent in around half an hour. A 360 litre boot, expanding to 1,231 litres with the rear seats folded, gives it genuine family-car practicality. Euro NCAP has not yet crash-tested the 600e, so safety credentials rest on Fiat's standard-fit driver assistance systems rather than an independent star rating.
