Citroen Ami Coupe

A tiny two-seat electric quadricycle rather than a conventional car, built for short urban trips where a full-size vehicle is unnecessary. It suits city dwellers and younger drivers, including some who can use it from age 16 under quadricycle licensing rules, who want a simple, affordable way to get around town. Range is a modest 47 miles WLTP, in keeping with its low top speed of 28mph, and there is no rapid DC charging, since the Ami is designed to charge from a standard three-pin domestic socket in a few hours. Boot space is limited to 63 litres, and the cabin seats just two. As a quadricycle rather than a car, the Ami falls outside Euro NCAP's testing remit, so no independent crash rating exists.
