Byd Atto 2 Electric Hatchback

A compact electric SUV positioned below BYD's larger Atto 3, aimed at drivers who want SUV styling and a raised driving position in a smaller, easier-to-park footprint. The Boost trim is the entry point into the range and comes generously equipped. WLTP range is 214 miles, and the battery accepts DC rapid charging at up to 65kW, enough for a useful top-up on a longer trip though slower than some rivals. The boot holds 400 litres with the rear seats up, expanding to 1,340 litres when they are folded flat. Five seats and a genuinely spacious cabin for the car's outside dimensions are a highlight, though it has not yet been crash tested by Euro NCAP, so it is worth weighing that against rivals with a published rating.
