"It was our pleasure working with Love electric team. You guys are awesome.  Here are the answers to the questions along with the photos of our car."

When and why did you decide to switch to driving electric?

We were driving PHEV car for last 4 years so seen the benefits of owning a electric car both- personal benefits as well as for environment.

What were the main barriers to getting an electric car, if any?

Currently the cost of owning/leasing the electric car is very high plus for some of the manufacturers delivery time is much higher .Also there is a need to improve the charging infrastructure throughout UK.

What would you say have been the key benefits to you of driving electric?

The overall cost effectiveness /running expenses are very low compared to petrol/diesel cars. There are no congestion n ULEZ charges for electric cars. There are dedicated parking spaces in most of the parking across London/UK.

What has been the main challenge of driving electric, and how have you overcome the challenge?

On long car trips/journeys outside London you must plan your journey in a way that you will get a charging station when required. The infrastructure of fast chargers has to improve.

Would you recommend the loveelectric salary sacrifice scheme to others?

Yes, very much as we got the best deal thanks to loveelectric representatives.

When and why did you decide to switch to driving electric?

When the LEZ zones were announced for Scotland I realised that living and working in city centres would require a drastic change in vehicles.

What were the main barriers to getting an electric car, if any?

My main concern was always that the lack of places to charge and living in a flat I will be entirely reliant on outside sources. The Range as well was of concern as I like to do camping trips up North.

What would you say have been the key benefits to you of driving electric?

No LEZ Restrictions, not having to use fuel and the gas stations anymore and lowering my carbon footprint.

What has been the main challenge of driving electric, and how have you overcome the challenge?

Understanding charging stations and the best ones to use is overwhelming but I’m getting the hang of it. The longer trips I tend to take to the North are something that has put me off switching but there are more charging stations now which gives me a bit of peace of mind.

Would you recommend the loveelectric salary sacrifice scheme to others?

Absolutely yes. It’s been the easiest car leasing experience I’ve ever had, from start to finish the communication, information and delivery has been spot on. The only stressful part was selling my old car!

When and why did you decide to switch to driving electric?

I saw the company was offering salary sacrifice on the electric cars and read through the offer which looked good so did the process which love electric contacted me with what was available to me and also love electric did everything for me I just chose the car which was so easy and hassle free so accepted especially as the car I chose was available so quickly as well!

What were the main barriers to getting an electric car, if any?

Just the change and been different to normal and probably how to charge etc but when I looked into it I got a charger fitted to home and also looked what was available around the country which put my mind at ease !

What would you say have been the key benefits to you of driving electric?

Doing my bit for the environment and probably helping my children’s future although a small amount it will help the environment and also electric is cheaper than fuel.

What has been the main challenge of driving electric, and how have you overcome the challenge?

Making sure the vehicle is charged, but I have overcome this as I set a timer to charge overnight at home via my phone app which was easy so the car is always fully charged.
