A LEAF from Nissan’s book

The Nissan LEAF takes the crown as the first ever mass-produced, mass-market, all-electric car. It introduced the world to a useable alternative to a petrol family hatchback we’d become accustomed to.

With the second generation Nissan LEAF 2017, the Japanese giant polished and improved on every aspect of what made the original LEAF great. The result is an electric car in its purest form: affordable, practical and refined.

Nissan LEAF Performance and Specs

As a family-orientated electric hatchback, the Nissan LEAF provides an impressive range from its modest battery: 168 miles from a single charge. By utilising the instant torque provided by electric motors, the LEAF has a power figure of 150bhp and a 0-62mph time of 7.9s.

With a top speed of 90 mph the LEAF is perfectly suited for cruising at motorway speeds. In terms of practicality, the cabin offers 435 litres of luggage capacity.

However, opt for a Nissan LEAF lease and you’ll be able to experience the exclusive one-pedal braking system. Through innovative regenerative braking technology, the LEAF can be brought to a complete standstill without ever touching the brake pedal. It also puts a bit of charge back into the battery too.

Nissan Leaf Salary Sacrifice

The Nissan LEAF is synonymous with the electric car. It may not be as glamorous as its German counterparts or sought-after as a Tesla, but driving the LEAF is to drive an icon. The bottom line is that Nissan simply did it first and did it best.
